The Ukulele gang
After-school ukulele group for Grade 4 and 5 students.

Hosted by Marie-Claude Landry, the Ukulélé Gang group is designed for children who want to learn how to play the ukulele while exploring rhythm, coordination, and musical expression in a motivating and collaborative environment.
These group lessons allow students to discover the basics of the instrument, play together, and build a strong connection with music.
What the group includes:
• Introduction to the ukulele (basic chords, finger placement, posture)
• Rhythmic games and motor coordination activities
• Learning accessible and upbeat songs
• Introduction to basic tablature reading
• Active listening and group accompaniment activities
• Preparation for a group performance (staging and shared enjoyment)
Important information:
Groups are made up of 6 to 10 children to promote individualized learning in a dynamic atmosphere. The Marie-Sol approach allows students to progress at their own pace while fostering curiosity, consistency, and confidence.
